AINW (Archaeological Investigations Northwest, Inc.), is a full-service cultural resource firm based in Portland, Oregon, providing services throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. AINW was established in 1989 and offers a wide range of archaeological, historical, and architectural history services, with a staff of more than 30 full-time employees. Most of the projects completed by AINW are for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, or with state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. These studies have been done for a wide range of public, private, and tribal clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.
